Cardio Tennis is a system designed to bring a high level cardiovascular workout into the world of tennis, incorporating the game you know and love with games and activities that keep you moving, burning calories and improving your footwork and hand-eye coordination. Playing tennis is a workout in itself, but Cardio Tennis takes it to another level by:
- Getting your heart rate to levels optimal for achieving a solid cardiovascular workout and keeping it there for the duration of the session
- Ensuring you’ll receive the maximum benefits of the session through heart rate monitoring
- Levelling the playing field through the use of transition balls, making it easier for players of all ability levels to play together
- Enhancing the workout experience with high energy fitness music
Cardio Tennis is a great and healthy workout for people of all ages and abilities!
In partnership with Tennis for Free (TFF) – www.tennisforfree.com we are offering free tennis coaching every Sunday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm throughout the year.
Also included, there will be one court, advertised as the TFF sponsored court, available to access free of charge all year around. All courts are also available for ‘walk on and play free’ before 12pm on Mondays – Fridays, unless the courts are being used for Pavilion coaching, camps, matches, schools or Pavilion partners such as Haringey Council. All courts not otherwise booked are free for walk on and play purposes for children aged 12 years.
Our local tennis league is designed to offer an easy structure to play competitive matches at a time that suits you.
How to start playing:
New members are welcome to join at any point, but you will need to wait until the start of the next round before you can begin playing. We hope to run four rounds a year, so you shouldn’t have to wait long.
